Welcome to the Springbank Garden Club web site.

We are a group of gardeners dedicated to promoting and growing of flower and vegetable gardens under relatively hard climatic conditions in Springbank, Alberta, Canada. (Climate Zone 2)

We are located a 10 minute drive west of Calgary towards the Rocky Mountains and are generally 2º to 5º cooler then in Calgary.

Our last day of frost is at the end of May and returning by early September. This makes for a very short and challenging growing season.

Our club members are eager to share their knowledge, experience and mistakes with prospective new gardeners.
