The Springbank Lions Club is a member of Lions International that has 1.5 million members worldwide in over 181 countries. We belong to division 37E of Lions International.
The local club was formed in April 1982 and is registered under the Alberta Societies Act. The following honoured members are founding members: Lyle Ford, Frank Gathercole, Jim McKendrick, Wally Ona, Ernie Viekle, and Carl Werbisky. We currently have about 25 members from the Springbank and Calgary area that raise funds and work to improve our communities.
