About Us

The Springbank Heritage Club heritage_6.jpgwas established on June 21, 1986 and is comprised of approximately 90 members to date. With a longstanding history of organizing variousheritage_7.jpg activities, trips, and events, the Club enriches the lives of its members by providing Senior Residents from Springbank and surrounding communities the opportunity to gather together on a weekly basis. The Springbank Heritage Club Center is owned and maintained by club members and is located on approximately 4 acres of land. With expansion projects completed in 2010, the Club is always in pursuit of new ways to better enhance the experience of its members! The Heritage Center features a large kitchen that is perfect for organizing homemade potluck meals and serving baked treats at coffee time. The assembly hall, dance floor, library, and meeting/crafts room provide plenty of space for fun activities. In addition, the shuffleboard table and 2 regulation sized pool tables are great ways for members to gather together and socialize.

Activities & Services

The Springbank Heritage Club offers a wide variety of social activities and events on both a weekly and monthly basis. From morning singing, to board game evenings, square dancing, curling, bocce ball, pool, carpet bowling, and much more, there is something for everyone! heritage_2.jpgThe annual Christmas Dinner is always a highlight as are Monthly Potluck Suppers held on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Health related services are also offered at the Heritage Club Center and include foot care as well as monthly Blood Pressure Check-Ups.

Membership

The Springbank Heritage Club welcomes new members (age 50+) from the Springbank Community and beyond. The annual membership fee is $25.00 per person. If you would like to become involved as a Heritage Club Member, please contact Eric Longeway at 403 - 242 - 8761.
